Did you notice the new “frozen” headers?

You probably know that for table views the header at the top of the table and the first column with content stay fixed instead of scrolling off the browser window.
Well we extended this facility to Timeline, Crosstab and Summary Views last night. I think this will make these views, particularly Timelines, even more useful. Unfortunately, this facility currently works only in Internet Explorer.

Let me know what you think.

I just noticed this morning about the frozen headings on Cross Tab Views – wonderful! There also were very recent changes such as a return of the Search box, and better user administration tools – all much appreciated.

When these mini-releases come in, is there any heads up to users posted anywhere. I have set myself up to receive notifications when the knowledgebase is updated, but I’m wondering if there are any emails that go out that I am not receiving – we have had trouble recently with spam filters blocking email from @intuit.com.

It would be nice if there were a change log posted somewhere that we could get at – for the “minor” changes in between major releases – but some of the minor changes are really worth knowing about.

For example they could even be posted onto this Blog in their own continuous thread that would continue until the next official release, and then start a new thread.

Sheepishly she says… “We should have thought of that!” We’ll post to this blog, I think. I’ll follow up with the team and we’ll post here with more specifics.

    THANKS!

How about a release calendar showing planned releases?
I would think prior to a release or change, administrators of applications should get notified?
