Events Coming Up for the QuickBase Team…

Well, it will be a busy September for those of us on the QuickBase marketing team. We’re attending four events in the month.

First, we are exhibiting the America’s Small Business Development Center Network (ASDBC) conference in Chicago from September 2-5. The ASBDC is a great organization that helps business entrepreneurs succeed.

That same week from the 3d to the 5th, we are also sponsoring the Office 2.0 conference in San Francisco. The theme this year is Enterprise Adoption, and we are excited to have Tesla Motors, one of our customers, speak about how they use QuickBase to manage their engineering projects. I thought we could all drive to  the show from Boston in Tesla Roadsters, but somehow that didn’t happen. Maybe next year.

The following week, from the 10th to the 12th, we are going to our 2008 QuickBooks Enterprise Conference in Dallas. We will be participating in the solutions pavilion. It’s always a great show, and it’s fun to work with other parts of Intuit to make it happen, and to connect with passionate Intuit customers.

Wrapping up the month, we will be at the Web 2.0 Expo in New York City from September 16-19. We had a blast in April in San Francisco, and I’m expecting to have even more conversations with customers and prospects in New York.

Please stop by our booths at any of our shows (or all of them, if you want the extra bonus points), and say hello.

On the event calendar in October? The entire QuickBase marketing team will be taking a nap.

I know there’s not a related posting, but yesterday’s release of Google Chrome is very noteworthy. We have been running tests of IE vs Chrome and are seeing a 3:1 or 4:1 improvement for Chrome over IE.
