How many subscriptions and reminders can I send daily?

Your account can send as many subscriptions and reminders as the number of users allowed on your plan times three per day with a maximum of 500. This limit is applied at the table level, so each table in each of your application may send as many subscriptions and reminders as the number of users allowed on your plan times three per day. Once you hit this limit, QuickBase will send a warning email to the application manager and all recipients of the email subscriptions and reminders will only receive a link to the report or record in QuickBase instead of receiving a copy of the report or record inside the email.

To find the number of users allowed by your plan, starting from your My QuickBase page, follow the Manage Your Billing Account link in the upper right of your screen. In the screen that loads, click the blue hyperlink of your plan name in the Account Info section. The pop up window details your plan limits for users, application space, and file attachment space. The top number is your number of allowed users. Multiply this number by three to see how many subscriptions you can send each day.

Be aware that if a subscriptions sends a single report to 10 people, this counts as 10 subscriptions sent.

Below is a copy of the warning email sent to the Application Manager when the limit is hit.

"We were unable to email the entire report for this subscription. Last night, your QuickBase application 'xxx' exceeded its allowed limit of email subscriptions. QuickBase continued to send emails; however the normal contents of the email were replaced with a link to view those records on QuickBase.com. For information on how to fix the problem, please consult the frequently asked questions below. Best Regards, The QuickBase Team

What can I do to fix the problem? You have two options:
- increase the number of users on your QuickBase service plan (if you are the administrator).

- reduce the number of recipients for the reminder emails and report subscriptions in your application. To do this, log on to QuickBase, and click on your application. Then, go to Customize > Email, and click on Reminders or Report Subscriptions.

If I do nothing, what will happen? Your emails will continue to go out, with a link to QuickBase instead of the normal content.

What is the limit? On any given night, the number of emails you can send equals three times the number of users on your QuickBase service plan (30).

What kinds of emails contribute to this limit? Reminders and Report Subscriptions both count toward the nightly subscription limit. Email change notifications do not count toward the limit.

Why is there a limit? We established the limit to manage the impact of the email subscription feature on QuickBase's overall performance. I still don't understand. Is there someone I can talk to?

Of course. Feel free to submit a support case by clicking the 'Support' link in the top right-hand corner of your QuickBase screen."
