Reference Fields

When I create a detail record I see the record-picker field, an address, as it appears in the master. When I change the record picker field to read-only I only see the record number. Can I make the address value appear when it is read only?

The reference field (aka record-picker field) in the details table when displayed read-only always displays the value of the key field in the corresponding master record. The key field in the case you cite above is the Record ID#.
