Have you ever tried to build a form rule that needed some internal value that your users don’t need to see? If you set up another form rule which lists which fields should always be hidden, you can then build other rules with those fields without having to display them on the form itself:

While QuickBase only displays the name and a time/date stamp of the most recent person who has changed a record, you can use a text field with the append only option turned on to keep track of changes made to the record.

While adding or editing a record, you can use the following shortcuts to enter dates:

"t" - Enters today's date (this can be used as the default value for a date field to enter today's date by default)

"]" - Increments the date by one day

"[" - Decrements the date by one day

Certain fields are never editable directly. These include the five built-in fields, all formula fields, and all lookup fields. In addition fields that were at one time reference fields can behave in such a way that they don't display either a read-only or an editable value. Here is the situation that creates these former uneditable reference fields.
