re: running a report
Hi --
There are several reasons for the behavior you describe: the report you're running has a filter criteria that filters out all the records (i.e., returns nothing), you don't have permissions to access the data in the report, or the table you're running the report on has no data yet. Try looking at the "List All" report for the table you're running the report on. If no data displays from the List All report, it's probably one of the last two items I listed. Try contacting your app manager for help. If the "List All" report shows data, then it might be your report's filter criteria. See this help topic for more information on filtering data: https://www.quickbase.com/help/default.html#filter.html
Reporting looks simple enough, but it provides many options and people want to look at their data in many ways, so it gets complicated quickly. If you've tried the suggestions above and still have questions, contact Support: http://quickbase.intuit.com/support/portal.
Regards,
Sybil
