Multiple user accounts belonging to one individual create confusion from time to time. For example, say you created an account using your Gmail address and someone has invited you to join their application using your corporate e-mail address. Once you sign on to QuickBase using both, you have two separate user accounts. The next application manager who wants to grant you access, may not know which one to choose. Next thing you know, you're waiting for an invitation e-mail to arrive in your corporate e-mail box, while it sits languishing in your Gmail account. For this reason, avoid registering with QuickBase under many different e-mail addresses, unless you're doing so intentionally (to test roles, for example). If you want to clear up the confusion, there's one possible solution: a Billing Account Administrator might be able to deactivate one of the accounts (but only if the billing account "owns" the e-mail address). A QuickBase user can also end up with multiple user accounts if he creates more than one "screen name." An account associated with one e-mail address can actually contain multiple accounts--each with its own screen name. Problems arise when an application manager grants access to one screen name and not the other. If the user always signs in with the alternate screen name, he may never see the application.
So how do you know how many accounts one user might have? Only a user can check to see if multiple screen names are associated with his account.
