If you tried to change your billing plan and the change did not go through, it may be that your account is not in compliance with other limits specified by your plan.

Every QuickBase account is associated with a billing plan, and each billing plan specifies the following limits for the account:

  • The number of users with access

  • The amount of application space (in MB)

  • The amount of space (in MB) taken by file attachments

The limits vary with each billing plan and account administrators can change their plan at any time by following these steps:

  1. Go to Manage your billing account.

  2. Click Change plan.

If you followed these steps and were not able to change your plan, you may already be exceeding at least one of your plan’s limits and, at the same time, trying to change to a plan that will not bring you under compliance.

You can see your plan limits by clicking the link for your plan in the Account Info section of the Account Summary tab (in Manage your billing account.) You can also see your usage relative to these limits in the Current Usage section of the Summary tab.

If you determine that you have exceeded one of your limits, you can choose either of these actions:

  • Decrease your usage in any area (delete file attachments, remove users, etc) until you are in compliance.

  • Upgrade to a plan with limits that are greater than your current usage.

Once you are under compliance in all areas, you should be able to change your billing plan.
