If you have recently upgraded to Windows 7 and Office 2010, attempting to
open QuickBase file attachments saved in earlier versions (97-2003) of Excel, Word, or PowerPoint may produce
this error. To fix the problem:

You can use a Formula – URL field to
a URL that takes a viewer to a specific Web page. Formula - URL fields enable you to combine
information from different fields in your application into a single URL. You use the "&" symbol to combine the values of several fields into a single URL or add the value of one or more fields to a URL string.
QuickBase users may notice small discrepancies when rounding
and comparing floating point numbers. For example, Round(37.785,0.01) returns 37.78 instead of 37.79. This
is not a QuickBase-specific issue; the discrepancies happen because some
floating point numbers cannot be represented exactly in the binary format
required by computers and are instead approximated.
In the September 2011 release, we will be changing our password requirements for all users who log in interactively using QuickBase authentication. These include strengthened password requirements, and the introduction of a security question and answer.
