How can I avoid placeholders?
During the import process, if you import your resources, or contacts, by name into a user field (such as Assigned To), QuickBase may not recognize the names as users. Read more about user fields here:

However, if you import email addresses into a user field, QuickBase will recognize the email addresses as users instead of creating placeholders. Read more about placeholders and why QuickBase creates them here:
