How do I collect ALL of a report's records using an Exact Form? I know I can print them one by one, but I want to print them all at once.
When you create documents using an exact form, QuickBase generates one HTML file per record. If you want to display all these records in one document instead, do the following:
First find the qid of the report that contains all the records you want to print out with your Exact Form. To learn how to determine the qid of a report please read:
Next, click the "Print ExactForm" link (where "ExactForm" is the name of your form) in one of your records. The form for that record displays in the browser. Your browser's address bar contains a URL that ends with
where nnn is a number. Within the URL, replace this text with
where nnn is the qid of your report.
After you edit the URL, press Enter. Your browser displays all the records together in one document.
Your report cannot prompt the user for criteria. Also it must display all the columns that are used on your form.
When you print this document with all records on one page, they will actually print one record per page.
To force a page break on any exact form insert this at the appropriate place in the Exact Form dbpage: <div style="page-break-before: always;"></div>
