How do I embed my username and password into a shortcut icon, so I don't have to enter them every time I log on?

All you have to do is use the following URL:

https://www.quickbase.com/db/main?a=api_authenticate&username=yourEmailA...

Just plug your email address (or QuickBase screen name) and password into the appropriate places above. You can make this URL into a shortcut or a bookmark in your browser.

How do I make the find field

Hi, The first step is to find the URL of the Find search engine. Go to your application and pull up the Find. Now copy the URL from your browser window. Using the string below as your example: https:///db/main?act=API_Authenticate&username=XXX&password=XXX Replace https://www.quickbase.com/db/main with the URL of your Find. Then replace the XXX following username= with your username (normally your email address) and replace the XXX following &password= with your secure password. Now you can save the entire URL as a bookmark. Thanks, Karis QuickBase Support
