How do I find the database ID (dbid) of a QuickBase table?
For all QuickBase users, you can find the database ID of a table in the address bar of your browser when you're looking at any page of the table. The dashboard page of all QuickBase applications have a dbid that does not refer to any of the tables in the application. You must navigate to a form or view that is specific to your table to cause the proper dbid to appear in your
browser's address bar. The dbid is after the "https://www.quickbase.com/db/" and before the first question mark "?" if there is one. For example the dbid in the following URL:
https://www.quickbase.com/db/6mztyxu8?act=er&rid=20
is
6mztyxu8
If you are the application manager, you can find the DBID for your application and for all tables in the application by following these steps:
1. From your QuickBase application, select Help > Application Site Map.
2. In the Miscellaneous column, choose Show Application Statistics.
A window appears that displays all stats for your app. The first DBID you see is your App ID. DBIDs for all tables in the app appear below.
