I love being able to click a column heading to re-sort the data. How does it sort things when I click a column heading in a report that has grouped data?
For reports with grouped data, clicking a column heading sorts the data within each group based on the selected column. It does not change your groupings.

Grouping the reports bar
Hi,
I would like to group some reports togetter and I wanted to have sub bar to do it, e.g. I have 3 installations reports, I would like to see when I go to the report bar to see first Planning, Installations, Engineering etc. and in Installations another list will open that will show me the 3 reports I have.
How do I group the reports?
Thanks
No grouping mechanism available today
Hi --
I'm sorry to say that we have no report grouping mechanism like you describe. Some customers have added prefixes to their report names to get them to group and appear in the desired order. So for your desired grouping, you could have: 1-Planning-Report1, 1-Planning-Report2, 2-Installations-Report1, 3-Installations-Report1, 3-Installations-Report2, and 3-Installations-Report3 (i'm using "reportN" to stand in for the report name).
Hope this helps,
--Sybil
