How do I allow users to change the owner of a record without giving them administrative rights to the application?
When you edit a role, you can allow users in that role to change ownership of records in a particular table by placing a check mark in the column labeled "Edit Field Properties" for that table.

locating screen to share new user
I was told to click users at the top of the screen and select share with new user then to enter the email address of the person I want to invite, but all of the links I have take me back to the screen that reqires a username and password. No where on the screen do I see the option toclick on users.
Can you provide me the link I should follow?
need to sign in?
Hi Bonnie --
Those instructions are correct -- it sounds like you might have been accessing a publicly-visible QuickBase while not signed in, and so didn't have permissions to share. Try signing in when you see the username/password prompt, then if you still don't see the Users menu, you probably have not been given permissions to share that particular app. The person to contact for those permissions is your app manager.
Hope this helps,

new admin person
The person who set us this account is no longer in our employ. I tried to change contact info based upon the following instructions but had no success.
Our Response: Hello,
I've invalidated Deborah's account. You can invite your new user to your app by e-mail, which will create a new user account for them.
Thanks,
Brian
