How do I find the query identifier (qid) of a particular report?

Our Knowledge Base covers a wide variety of technical topics, from the basic to the complex.

In the table bar on any application page, click the table featuring the report. Within the menu that appears, select Customize --tablename-- table > Reports. Click on the "Display" button next to the particular view name to bring up the view. If you look in the address bar of your browser you'll see the query identifier as the last numeric portion of the URL.

For example:

https://www.quickbase.com/db/6mztyxu8?a=q&qid=5

the query identifier is "5" for the above URL.

Unfortunately it's not currently possible to ttrack when a specific report is run. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

How do I receive a notification when a report is run

There are a few tables in my database that my employees need access to but I would like to know when they run a specific report- how do I do that?
