1. Create a new Summary field in the Master table. See "Creating a Summary Field."

Choose option for "The number of <Details> related to that <Master>"

Set the optional Matching Criteria to "Only summarize records where the following is true in <Detail>":

There are two workarounds for this - depending upon what you want to do.

SCENARIO ONE: OR conditions are in the same field.

Say you want one person to see all records where the status is "on hold" OR is "Open." Tackle this within a single access rule. To do so, create a rule.

Within the first dropdown select the Status field.

In the second dropdown select "is".

When you set up a Role, you can limit the reports that are available to users on that role. If however, you have "activated" or given access to the role "Everyone on the Internet," your users will see the "superset" of all reports available to their Role as well as the Everyone on the Internet role.

When you edit a role, you can allow users in that role to change ownership of records in a particular table by placing a check mark in the column labeled "Edit Field Properties" for that table.
