QuickBase is a web site that lets you quickly and easily select, customize and share online workgroup applications that actually work the way your teams do. QuickBase is developed by Intuit, a 20-year software veteran and web services developer with more than 25 million customers and more than $2.5 billion in annual revenues. Intuit is recognized for widely-used software such as QuickBooks®, Quicken® and TurboTax®.
An online workgroup application is a Web-based solution that helps a team organize, track and share information - which in turn improves team productivity. QuickBase provides a platform for sharing any number of workgroup applications addressing a wide range of business needs. Examples include business-critical functions like sales force management and project management, or more focused initiatives like organizing marketing collateral or managing customer contracts.
Yes. QuickBase is developed with the everyday business user in mind. You don't need to be an IT pro - you can get a customized QuickBase application up and running in just hours. No programming is required. If you're familiar with spreadsheets, you'll feel right at home using QuickBase.
To get started, simply select one of QuickBase's ready-made online workgroup applications, then customize it to suit your needs and your workflow. If you don't find an existing application that addresses your business challenge, you can create one from scratch.
When you're ready, add your existing data. It's simple to import data from spreadsheets or other sources. Next, decide who you want to share the application with and what level of control you want to give them over the information. You can then send an invitation inviting team members to log in and start using your QuickBase application.
