Training, providing feedback, idea sharing, learning what’s ahead, putting faces with names… these are all great objectives for User’s Group meetings. We are thinking about hosting a QuickBase User’s Group meeting, and we’d love your feedback on:
- Content: Training would be the main focus area, with training for beginner through advanced on QuickBase application development, application management and optimization, user and account administration can be covered, and possibly even some talks on how to train end users. We’d love to have you be center stage too, where y’all share your tips and tricks. In addition, we’ll provide both a look into how we see the future and the opportunity for you to give us feedback on that future. What do you think? What else would you liek to see?
- Timing: What length of time, days of week, and season works best? And how often would you like to see this? Annually?
- Location: I lean towards a live conference, but if y’all have seen other formats (web conferences, series of webinars, etc.), I’d love to learn from you what’s been the most useful for you. If we go with live, I think we’d be best hosting our first user’s group in Boston. Does that make sense for y’all?
What other things come to mind when you consider going to a conference? How many folks from your organization would be interested in attending? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts! And if you’d rather send those thoughts directly to me, Intuit’s convention for email addresses is firstname.lastname@example.org.
